Chateau Beauregard Ducasse 'Cuvee Albertine Peyri' BLANC 2019 Graves
Cuvee Albertine Peyri is Chateau Beauregard Ducasse’s top white cuvee made from a blend of equal parts Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc. Skin maceration, fermentation in barrel and lees ageing for eight months gives the wine an amazing aromatic intensity, weight and structure. It is a tangy, lime-dominated wine with tropical, honeyed notes and a creamy texture which finishes with mineral notes and a pleasing freshness.
The Chateau is situated in the south of the Graves AOP. Reaching elevations of up to 112m, it is one of the highest vineyards in the appellation. The land has been owned by the same family since 1850, but it was only recently converted into a vineyard by current owner-winemaker Jacques Perromat. This wine is named after his daughter.
