Marquista Blanco de Albariza Palomino Fino 2024

Marquista Blanco de Albariza Palomino Fino is best described as an un-fortified Manzanilla. The wine is aged under flor, so has a similar profile, but has not been fortified, so the alcohol remains at 13%. Dry, powerful and zippy with citrus fruit and a salty tang.

Bodegas del Rio was founded in 1990 but only started bottling under their own label in 2022. Many of the famous names from Jerez source their wines from here, most notably Lustau. Owned by the Del Rio family, the Bodega owns 13 hectares located in Vina Casilla Verde, in the heart of Miraflores Baja, the most prestigious Pago of Sanlucar de Barrameda.
