Mahi Twin Valleys Chardonnay is a fresh and complex wine with a wide range of fruit flavours from citrus through to fleshy tropical notes. Sourced from a small vineyard, it has a beautiful balance of soft vanilla and butter oak notes, ripe mango and melon fruit and a fresh yet creamy texture. Bold and elegant, lovely wine.
Mahi was founded at the turn of the last century by Brian & Nicola Bricknell. Brian had worked for 15 years as a wine maker around the world, before returning to Marlborough to start his own project. Brian wanted to showcase, not only Marlborough’s regional characteristics, but also focus on unique, high quality, single vineyard plots. They now have eight individual vineyard sites which are planted with specific varieties to suit each plot. The resulting wines have an air of elegance, texture and complexity, which are utterly delicious.
