'Bougros' is located at the far western edge of the Grands Crus area, with vineyards situated between 130 and 170 metres in altitude. The soils are composed of deep marl and clay, and the southwest-facing slopes provide optimal sun exposure. Wines from this appellation are known for their richness and depth on the palate. This has a rich and expressive bouquet marked by pronounced mineral notes. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and rounded, yet retains a firm, structured character with impressive weight and presence. Ideal with fish and shellfish as well as poultry and white meats.

In 1959, William Fèvre took over the family estate, ushering in a new era and renaming the domaine to reflect his vision. Over the decades, the estate expanded its holdings exclusively within the historic terroirs of Chablis. Today, William Fèvre is one of the largest landowners in the region, with 70 hectares of esteemed vineyards—15.9 hectares classified as Premiers Crus and 15.2 as Grands Crus.
