Schloss Lieser is owned and run by Thomas Haag who is the son of Wilhelm Haag, the man responsible for the magnificent wines at Weingut Fritz Haag. Thomas produces an impressive range of wines from a 25-hectare estate that has vineyards scattered over an enviable array of terroirs. These are wines that age superbly and we are fortunate to have found a small parcel with some nice age to them. Lower in alcohol and off dry, these are wines of immense purity, generous fruit and bewildering complexity.
