Macon Peronne L'Etoile Maison Matisco is a rich Chardonnay with wonderful underlying minerality. It has lovely spiced apple notes, lemon, jasmine and floral notes. It is a magical and expressive wine that represents superb value and drinks effortlessly.
Since the early 1990’s, brothers Richard and Stéphane Martin have been farming this magnificent Domaine in accordance with strict organic principals. They have grown their holdings from 6 to 25 hectares in that time with the majority in the Davaye commune. The brothers’ wines offer tremendous value from a region that is seeing prices escalate. These wines have been made with a meticulous attention to detail and the quality is quite something to behold.
