Latido de Sara Wild Garnacha 2022

Latido de Sara Wild Garnacha is an intensely fruity and expressive wine with lovely red fruit aromas of dark strawberry, raspberry and cherry. The palate is full yet fresh with caramel, aniseed and spice notes perfectly balanced with the wild red fruits. Amazing value and a lovely red for the warmer weather.

Latido wines are made by Sara Martinez Lagos who has managed to capture the pure joy and brilliance of the Garnacha grape variety in these inexpensive and captivating wines. The wines are made at Navarra’s oldest winery, San Martin in the town of San Martin de Unx from grapes grown in a 1.5ha vineyard owned by Sara. The vines sit on slopes at an altitude of 650 meters in a sub zone of Navarra which is called the “low Mountain” area. It is an area which is exposed to a fair amount of wind which does a grand job at regulating the temperature and brings freshness to the wines. These really are wonderfully handcrafted wines with expressive fruit and texture at a seriously good price.
