Fonseca Quinta Panascal 2004 is a big, luscious wine with instant appeal. The vineyard is one of the finest in the area and a major contributor to Fonseca’s main vintage Port. The 2004 is maturing yet approachable with ripe jammy fruit character, plum, dark cherry and complex secondary aromas of tobacco, tea and spice. It is a warm and hedonistic wine which will brighten the dreichest of days.
Fonseca is one of the great names of Port which can trace its history back to 1815. They first shipped vintage Port to London in 1840 and have built a reputation for structured, long lived Ports with great finesse and heady flavours.
