The Durif grape variety, also called Petite Sirah in California, is of southern French origin but has found a friendly home in Rutherglen, Australia. Campbells of Rutherglen make this excellent example, which is characteristically full bodied and packed with ripe, rich, dark fruit flavours of black plum, dark cherry and earthy notes. A lovely wine to go with char grilled meats.
