Sylvain Bzikot Auxey-Duresses Rouge is a charming, elegant Pinot Noir with vibrant red cherry and wild strawberry character. It has a delicious sappy and savoury, with rich sweet strawberry, red cherry and creamy toast notes, excellent and classy Pinot Noir.
Sylvain Bzikot’s grandfather wasa Polish emigrant who arrived in Puligny just before the War with nothing butthe clothes he stood up in. From those very humble beginnings this familydomaine has managed to acquire an impressive 4 hectares of some of the mostvaluable agricultural land in the world, namely Puligny-Montrachet and Puligny Montrachet1er Cru. They own a further 9 hectares of “regional appellation” producingBourgogne Blanc, Aligoté and Pinot Noir.
