With a plethora of choice of Rose wines these days, customers often find the different styles of Rose confusing. At the end of the day, it is all matter of taste. Here we make some recommendations based on different styles:

DELICATE, LIGHT & FRESH:

Grenache Rose ‘Tendem’ Bruno Andreu 2023

Bruno Andreu makes this delicious Languedoc Grenache Rose in a light Provence style. It’s bursting with fresh summer red summer fruit flavours of strawberry, raspberry and cranberry. It is fresh and light and perfect as an early summer sundowner.

Bruno Andreu Gris de Gris Premium Rose 2022

Bruno Andreu Gris is Gris Rose is a limited edition rose made from Grenache Gris. It is a lovely pale pink colour and displays elegant and subtle red summer fruit character along with petty floral notes. Lovely and fresh on the finish but textured on the palate with a long finish. A lovely rose with loads of finesse.

JUICY SUMMER FRUITS & SLIGHTLY FULLER BODIED:

Ingrid Groiss ‘Hasenhaide’ Rose 2023

Hasenhaide means “garden of the hares”, which is the name of the vineyard that Ingrid Groiss sublime Rosé comes from. The wine is a blend of Pinot Noir & Zweigelt. We love the delicate salmon pink colour and seductive nose of fresh strawberries and ripe cherries. The juicy fruit on the palate marries beautifully with a stony minerality that gives the wine great freshness. It goes without saying that we are massive fans of Ingrid and her wines, and we are so pleased to bring the Rosé into our ever-growing range, even though it runs out every year!

Syrah Rose ‘Elixir’ Bruno Andreu 2022

Elixir Rose from the Languedoc is winemaker Bruno Andreu’s ‘savoir faire’ and akin to those on trend Provencal Rose wines with equally glamorous names. Even though light in style, it is made from 100% Syrah which gives the wine a fuller flavour and more intensity. With delicious summer fruit flavours and an ‘Insta’ worthy bottle, it is extremely popular over the summer months.

Chateau La Verriere Bordeaux Rose 2023

Chateau La Verriere Bordeaux Rose is a standout wine each year. A delicious rose made from an equal parts blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, with ripe red summer fruit berry notes, lots of texture and priced a lot more favourably that Provence equivalents. It is a rose wine that is a joy to drink on its own but also works well with seafood and spicy food.
