Alexander Pflüger is a young charismatic winemaker. He took over the running of the estate from his father in 2010. The estate has been organic since 1989 and farmed biodynamically since 2008. Their winery has been ecologically sound for at least 20 years. The family have a passion for the soil and the way it is expressed in the wines.
The Durkheimer Riesling - Qualitätswein Pfalz - is dry with a little residual sweetness on the palate. Peach, apricot and ripe citrus aromas shine through on the palate.
Perfect with white meats, strong mature cheese or most seafoods.
