Miles Mossop Wines burst onto the scene in 2004.It is a family business with Miles Mossop (winemaker at Tokara winery) as winemaker and viticulturist. Production is limited to 15 tonnes in total, which results in 500 cases of the white and 500 cases of the red being produced.These are truly handcrafted wines showing pure fruit expression and with an emphasis on finesse, texture and length.The wines are made at the Tokara facility on the Helshoogte Pass in Stellenbosch where Miles is the full-time winemaker.
Max is essentially a Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Malbec. Dark fruits like cherries, plums and blackberries dominate this wine with hints of cocoa and cedar. It is deliciously complex and outstandingly good value.
