Only made in the best vintages, this is a vintage Rose is to be celebrated. A blend of around 65% Pinot noir and 35% Chardonnay, 20% of which is wine matured in oak tuns, the Rosé Vintage cuvée is generally matured on lees for 4 years and is also left for a minimum of 6 months after disgorgment. Roederer is one of the few houses that still use maceration on the skins, a delicate method by which Pinot Noir grapes are left to macerate on the press for hours to extract more fruit and colour. The aroma is intense with summer fruits and quince, then moves to sweet rose floral notes.
