Falerio DOC Saladini Pilastri 2022

Falerio from Saladini Pilastri is a fantastic dry white from Italy’s Marche region. It is made from a blend of ancient, native grape varieties - Passerina, Pecorino and Trebbiano. It is our antidote to Pinot Grigio and makes the perfect aperitif or partner to light meals. It has a delicious mix of tangy lemon, pineapple and green fruit. A lovely discovery!

Saladini Pilastri is a beautiful estate dating back to the 1400s and really impressed us with their super tasty and affordable range of organic wines. The estate is located in the south of the visually-stunning Marche region, which sits on the east coast of central Italy. The climate here is Mediterranean, with hot, dry summers tempered by the maritime influence of the Adriatic Sea only 8km away from the vineyards. All the farming is organic and the winery is equipped with all the latest wine-making mod cons. It helps that at the heart of the estate is a plush mansion house with sweet swimming pool!
