This is where the real value lies in Bordeaux, according to Will. The Graves region named after its gravelly soil produces wines with great freshness and rich fruit flavours. Chateau des Gravieres is a charming wine made by brothers Thierry and Denis Labuzan. The vines are on average 25 years old, the soil is full of pebbles, and the wine is 50% aged in barriques. It is a lovely drop with soft red fruits and gentle vanilla aromas from the oak.
