Chateau La Fleur Cravignac St-Emilion Grand Cru, 2014
Located 1 km to the northeast of the town of St Emilion, this 8 hectare Chateau is made up of 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. The complex soils are made up of shallow clay-limestone, clay sand, shell debris and silt topsoil over a limestone subsoil. The wine is fully deserving of its Grand Cru status and displays that magic balance of elegance, finesse and complexity. The wine is fermented in stainless steel vats and matured in new French oak for 18 months.
