Chateau Haut Batailley 2003 is a dense yet charming wine with black fruit, earth and a savoury notes running through it. Sweet spice and warm fruit notes of damson come through on the palate with lovely developed characteristics and a savoury finish.

Chateau Haut Batailley is a fifth growth Bordeaux Chateau located in the commune of Pauillac. It is owned by the Cazes family, owners of Chateau Lynch Bages, who purchased it in 2017. The estate was once part of Chateau Batailley but was divided in 1942 by the Borie brothers in order to avoid inheritance issues. The estate now covers 22 hectares of which Cabernet Sauvignon is the most dominant.
