Product Details

Chateau Bourgneuf 2014 is made from 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc. It is a rich and juicy wine with dark black fruit, plum and black cherry fruits oozing from the glass. The palate is well structured and silky with spice, liquorice and smoky notes. It is a stylish, modern wine which will impress dinner guests.

Chateau Bourgneuf is a 9 hectare estate located in the Pomerol region of Bordeaux. The vineyards occupy a privileged location on the slope of the Pomerol plateau and consist of three different soil types – pure clay, sandy clay and gravel. This combination of sunlight and soils leads to a complex wine with great finesse and strength. The estate has been owned by the Vayron family since 1840 and is today run by Xavier and Dominique who inherited it in the 1970’s.
