Finding the likes of Chateau Plincette are exciting because, with a tiny production of 1000 cases annually and a mere 2 hectares, this small castle in Pomerol in another bargain in our opinion. With that characteristic soft and rich texture and bouquet of ripe fruits and round tannins, it will make a fine choice for the festive season ahead. Wine journalist James Suckling rated the 2015 Bordeaux vintage highly: "The 2015 vintage is an extremely exciting year for Bordeaux, producing wines with exuberant fruit character and plenty of tannin backbone to give them shape and tension. They have a unique ripe fruit character that remains cool and fresh'.
