I got the bug whilst at University and working part time at Oddbins. When I finished studying, I was fully immersed in all things wine and knew I wanted a career in the trade. I have now spent almost half of my life working within this industry and am fully equipped to spread the word about fantastic wines! After working for a very large retail wine company for many (too many) years, I was relieved when Tarquin and Will asked me to join them in 2014. I now look after the Marketing side of things at de Burgh with the odd wine sale thrown in for old times’ sake.
I am a self confessed wine geek/ food lover/crisp fanatic/ bletherer and probably spend too much time thinking up delicious food and wine combinations when not chasing after my sons. Sherry is one of my great loves in life, alongside anything bubbly, Italian reds from Piedmont, esoteric whites and mature Bordeaux.
